It says on 350evo that you should add that nissan shifter cup when you switch to the rogue shifter. Does this still apply if your shifter only has 6k mi on it?

Default Shifter cup

At 6k miles you can most likely still use the original cup, but useing a new one just makes the install easier, since some have people have broken the original plastic cup when removeing from the OEM shifter.

Yea, i didnt and I think I chipped two small bits off that stupid cup trying to get it off. Definetly spend the $10 and save yourself the hassle.
