Default For those with Rouge Short Shifters

Those of you who broke them, or who just have them, do you hear a BAD vibration coming from the shifter, like where the silicone is?

when i get high in the rpms (5-6k) it buzzes real bad, i wonder if the silicone is wearing out, i got one of the first ones from Ben.

Default Rougue shifter

Installed mine 2 months ago, I did notice a little chatter in 5th under high load /deload. I adjusted the "knub" away from the side gate a little and the noise disappeared (at the slight expense of a little notchiness going into 5th and 6th. The normal gear vibrations were causing the shifter to resonate against the guide plate. Also I think my Borla TD exaggerted this vibration a little over the stock exhaust.

it is definately the shifter. i took the center console apart and there is about 2-3mm of play on the "joint" of the shifter.

i have the version 2 shifter. i have had it for MONTHS (sinc Jan.) with no problem. its still my favorite mod so far. it seems to viberate at high rpms, but there isnt a sound coming from it. im also using the titanum nismo ****, so im sure i feel it mone than the stock ****. but i LOVE the shifter now!!! i dont even notice the vibration, unless im at a light at idle, and i look down at my hand on the shifter. you can see it moving alot, but i dont seem to feel it?????

How does the rogue compare to the b&m short shifter, which is about $80 less.

As far a noise or vibration mine is the same as oem, I have the latest version (V2 I guess). I have nothing to complain about.

RE is 20% reduction, and i "think" B&M is 33%? the B&M is a little less $$$, but i have been hearing mixed reviews. still no problems with my RE V2. if i had to do it again right now, id still get the RE. hope that helps. the extra 13% is tempting, but not with the problems i have been hearing about. do a search.

Default rouge

Had mine for 6mo. Only issue is that mis-adjustment of the guide plate can either make 5@6th notchy (too much clearance) or rattley (too little clearance) . Took me 3 tries to get it just right.
Recommendation, after basic install/ adjust , replace the **** and drive the car in all gears and on the freeway , accel and decel before putting all the boots and plastic back on. LSight adjust may be needed. Given that , it works like a champ and is a vast improvement over OEM.
