More than anything, I hate bench racing and bench dynos. So it pains me to put this post up, BUT...... I was hoping that someone could give me some kind of idea where I stand. I'm pretty experienced with LS1 mods, but new to the Z. Any help is appreciated!
Nismo Exhaust
JWT Popcharger
UR crank pulley
Is this combo good for about 15 to 20 rwhp over stock?
I was guessing: 6 to 7 rwhp for the exhaust, 3 rwhp for intake, and 9 to 10 rwhp for the pulley.
Is that way off, or fairly accurate?

You want humor? Honestly from my experience and from the forums, HP for these cars is obtained at approx $100 per HP, because they were so well engineered at the factory. 3K = 30 HP at the wheels. 12 hundred + 12 HP, but dyno is obviously the only true way. Do a search on the top 10 naturally aspirated Z's. Find a vehicle with your mods and see what his dyno was, but stock engines do not all have the same HP from the factory.

that's ambitious... 5 or 6 at the rear wheels is more like it... gains from mods are not cumulative, they don't add on top of each other.
For instance, I have NISMO intake, Crawford plenum, NISMO headers, Borla True Dual and 250 RW hp is my best dyno run. My baseline was 234. So, all that crap for only 16 at the rear wheels. If I based my gains on what the manufacturers claim:
Intake: 5
Crawford: 10
headers: 15
Borla TD: 15
then I'd be making almost 280 at the rear wheels! That sure would be nice, but it's never going to happen.

That's disappointing. I'm adding a plenum and grounding kit in a month or so and was hoping for a little more juice than that.
If the $100 per hp is accurate, that would still equal around 15hp. Nismo exhaust ~$1100, pulley ~$235, popcharger ~$120. That equals $1455.00.
I know, I really need a dyno run, but for now, the forum experience is free and a dyno is not.

grounding kit makes nothing, that has no effect at all.
Id say 10-15 is possible though with that combo, pulleys are a solid gain, they have to be by design. the nismo exhaust isnt the highest hp in the world, but with the plenum, theres 5-8hp to be had. the bigger benefit from those 2 will be redline hp which you dont really measure.

Don't forget high flow cats to open up the flow! You already have the headers and exhaust. Plenum, Cats and ECU reflash and you'll run pretty sweet. The ECU flash will pull it all together. About $1850.00 total.

$60/HP (or less) if you go FI, specifically with Vortech. Out of the box you get a minimum of 100 hp, or 130-150 with good tuning and software for about $6000.
I baselined at 236.5, and with nothing more than a Topspeed Pro-1 exhaust I got 244.5 average (1 day later). With the silencers in place, interestingly I lost only 0.8 rwhp.
So with a Nismo exhaust, pulley and Pop Charger I could see you getting 15 rwhp. You really should do a dyno baseline so you can see if your mods are BS or not. $60-$70 now to know if your mods are working or if they should be on eBay can save you a lot of money down the road...
