Anyone use AMSOIL?
I've been curious about their oil (synthetic 5w-30) and have been waiting for the search functionality to come back, but....
Does anyone have feedback on Amsoil? I've read the Amsoil sponsored study (https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....threadid=67828), but does anyone have and can give feedback on their experience with it?
Also, what about the change interval? Their website recommends changes every 25,000 miles or yearly. They do recommend changing the filter at manufacturer's recommended intervals, but every 25k seems a bit long.
Thanks!

Re: Anyone use AMSOIL?
I use AMSOIL. I LOVE it. I change it every 6 months. (For me thats about 15,000 miles.) I change the filter every 5,000 miles.
I can tell when I change the filter that the oil is still in great shape. If you want, you can actually send a sample in for testing and analysis.
My dad uses AMSOIL in his Ford F-350 Turbo Diesel. He has a sample sent in every 5000 miles and they send him back a report and tell him when they reccommend he changes his oil. The analysis is VERY detailed. You can EASILY tell if something is wrong with the engine, BEFORE something major happens. He;s got over 30,000 miles on his oil and the analysis still comes back fine.

Ive used AMSOIL and Mobil1...I don't notice a difference...to me its all the same, you put it in the engine and it lubricates the parts....runs the same....but maybe for some serious racers with lots of upgrades it would matter...
