Actually there is such a thing, I have had years of electronic experience building boards from schematics.

A 0 Ohm resistor (also known as a jumper resistor) is a resistor (usually white) with 1 black ring meaning 0 Ohm. Its basically a jumper that looks like a resistor so your not just soldering wires to a board all sloppy, its an actual part.

Lol! Yeah but in this application I don't think that counts.
