hey there everyone i was just wondering if the g35 sedan could be modded with the same parts as the Z and G35C. my uncle has one and we were interested in making a little more power out of it. It has AWD so traction is great. We've only lowered it so far, but does anyone know if items like a G35C/Z supercharger, plenum, intake, headers, cats, exhaust, etc etc would work on the G35 sedan considering it is basically the same engine with some detuned parts? anybody? thanks for the help!

 

Several parts do work on the sedan that are made for the 350Z. Check my sig for my list. You are most likely going to have a difficult time getting parts to fot the AWD sedan though due to the nature of the different front suspension/exhaust arrangement for the auto tranny and front drive axles. Cold air intake/plenum are probably the only mods that are the same between cars.

 

thanks for the quick reply... sorry to hear that most parts won't fit... oh well maybe when i get my next car i'll get the 6speed!! is it possible to supercharge or turbocharge the 6speed?

 

Zimbo on this board has put the Vortech supercharger on his car with great success and minimal modification....except for some re-tuning of th R-4 software included in the kit. I have the Greddy TT for my sedan. All test-fitting was successful and the intercooler kit works great with an extension added to the upper intercooler mount. Greddy apparently has a kit out now for the G35 specifically.
