Default Another tranny bites the dust

I've been having problems with 2nd gear grinding alot for no reason and some rather loud clutch noises for awhile. So I took her into the dealer today and the mechanic and I went for a drive.

Long story short it looks like my Z will be getting a new tranny I don't know wether to be happy or sad :/

I am in the same boat. Brought mine in with a 3rd gear grind yesterday around 3,000 rpms. Didn't start developing till about 15,000 miles. I have and early 03 Z, VIN in the low 4,000's.

Dealer will be replacing the transmission and clutch disc assembly (??) no questions asked.

Not sure whether to be happy or sad either....
