I was thinking about doing the flex with EDFC, that will prob run me up around 2,500 =/ starting to think its overkill though and i might back out and settle for some eibachs, sways, and some little extras

I am just curious. Here is what I would probably do.

Pop Charger $120
Pulley belts $250
Kinetix Plenum $450
Hi flow cats $300
Borla TD $750
Eibachs $200
NX Nitrous kit $500
I would put it in the bank and save every last dime until it became 8k and then TWIN TURBOS!!!!!!

The Volk package is on their add in Road and Track this month. It was in there last month also. You should be able to order by phone. If not, PM me a fax number, and I will fax you the add.

2800 dollars would get me a custom turbo kit. Save money for turbo. Bolt-ons are pointless.

Well, I'd get a limited slip rear-end for my 240SX, spinning one wheel sucks. I'm not planning to heavily mod (twin turbo) my Z until college is over. I might buy a pop charger, but I'd try to double the rest of the money somehow. Then, maybe I'd buy something else, like a Crawford plenum. That's what I'd do, but if you want to spend it all on the car, I like D'oh's suggestions:

1. AutoX in BS class, so mods are limited:
Spare Wheels & R-compound tires = $2000
Hotchkiss or 350Evo front Sway Bar only = $200-$300
(Alternative is Koni Shocks = $750)
A bit over the limit if you choose the shocks, but not too much.

2. Track Day Car:
Stoptech 13" Front BBK = $2000
Hotchkiss or 350EVO Front & Rear Sways = $300-$400

3. Daily Driver Road Warrior:
Cat-Back Exhuast (Borla for me) = $800
Plenum (I prefer Kinetix) = $450
Hotchkiss or 350EVO sways = $300-$400
Koni Shocks = $750
Assortment of CD's = $250

I would do the Crawford package again any day, and it has gone down in price as well leaving some room for a popcharger and a y-pipe or a Borla TD. This sets you up to make great gains if you add cams or a supercharger later on. I have 19" Volks and they do hurt performance both straight line and on the curves, but damn do they look good!! I wanted a little of both since my car is really more for the street and not the track or the strip. The Stoptech brake upgrade is definately nice, but not really needed if you do not go with the 19" wider wheels. A brake pad and SS line upgrade would be sufficient for much better performance. Springs are not needed unless you want some drop, I would go with Koni's if you have any of the bounce issues and want a reasonable suspension upgrade.
