I just got my 04 z and it makes a noise when coming out of 5th gear like i have lose metal in the tranny, is this normal and will it go away?? and also my tranny vibrates alot around 5500 till redline is this normal also??

 

The vibration is normal. As for the 5th gear issue, I honestly have never heard of this one. Oh by the way, the vibration might only seem annoying for the first week of being able to drive the car hard. After that, you get used to it, and don't even notice it unless noted.

 

im making a edit to my post i just realized it, the noise is made when im coming out of 1st gear and the vibrating occurs when im at around 5500 rpm and higher so tell me if this is normal

 

Sounds to me like the noise you're hearing is from your synchros. Exactly what they're doing I couldn't tell you.

 

Try switching to a synthetic gear oil. I used mobil 1 and it really smoothed the shifted and quieted the drivetrain.

 

im going to take it to the dealer tomm so they know of the problem if something happens so i dont get screwed on warranty later, synthetic oil sounds like it might work but im definately going to take it to the dealer just to make sure that they know whats going on
