Although I am affiliated w/ Autronic as dealer, they are not the manufacturer in question here.

Are you allowed to run an aftermarket ecu?

This is a new model ecu yet to be released. It will have one of, if not, the fastest processor available. I can send you some general spec if your interested Nathan.

Guys, this ECU is designed for race team use and budgets. Please keep discussions about other systems or options in another thread.

Thanks.

which application are you going to have them write the ECU software for? N/A or Forced Induction?

I'm just giving input... I do not represent a race team nor have the budget for this type of ecu.

want to give you some on topic feedback.

1. considering what type of racers you are targetting (drag, road race, enduro)
2. what engine applications you are targetting (boosted or NA)

Good luck either way.

Any type of engine, FI or N/A, will be able to benefit from this ECU. It is not a single motor design application.

The ECU is capable of controling all of the engine parameters in order to optimize the engine to the requirements of the motor. As w/ any standalone it will allow a competent tuner to extract more power from a given engine combination.

The advantage to this system is its ability to incoporate the stock cam, crank, tps, TBW systems.
