Which supercharger has the best results, and is the most reliable, any1 here have either.

 

Keep in mind that I know very little about this topic, but from what I have read on this forum, the Stillen puts out more HP in the low RPM range than the Vortec. However, the Vortec has the higher HP rating at higher RPMs. I know that the Stillen requires a new hood or modding it to accept their SC.

Prochgr: 353.7 hp @ 6600 rpm 300.5 ft/lbs @ 4800 rpm
Vortec: 344.8 hp @ 6300 rpm 298.7 ft/lbs @ 5900 rpm

 

With the Vortech, youre pretty much stuck at <450rwhp the stillen keeps coming out with newer and newer SC's and thus have a ton of future power potential!

AAnyways, the vortech also needs serious tuning.
While the Stillen needs a new hood (looks damn sexy to me tho..)

Dont make your descision on us few, do a few searches and find out.

 

Vortech out of the box runs rich. That does not mean it needs "serious" tuning.
It seems most people here with the vortech are quite happy with it, some have not even done any tuning to it.
