Adding Hp Without Voiding The Warranty
I need help please. I just traded my 00 c5 in for an 04 350z and i love the car as far as looks, reliability and handling but as far as power i would like a little more. Maybe 30rwhp more. Any ideas on how to achieve this without voiding the warranty? Also what is a pop charger?

the only way to get significant power and keep 'a' warranty is to get the stillen or vortech supercharger and pay for the warranty replacement policy.
Other than that, you can get a cat-back, pop-charger/nismo intake, probably headers and hi-flow cats and get 15-20 hp for about 2000

The only part that adds HP performance and won't void the factory warranty is the NISMO exhaust, and it has to be installed by the dealer. NISMO has two different stages of parts: S-tune and R-tune. The S-tune parts won't void the warranty, the R-tune will. Alot of it probably depends on how cool the dealership is also. You can check out the different NISMO parts here:

Hope that helps you in your quest for more power.

if your gonna mod any car, you won't void the warranty unless the dealer can prove your parts failed the car (mag mossen? don't know the statue thing). in CA, you can't mod unless it's carb certified. if you add and intake and exhaust, you probably won't f*** up your car, but if you had a supercharger and new chip, yea, i think the dealer might have a problem.
depends what your gonna get out of the car. if your keeping it for 3 years then trading it in, go ahead and mod it, and keep your original parts handy to reinstall. if your going for the long haul, try modding after the waranty expires, or be really handy with repairing your car yourself. it helps if you have a good mechanic to go to, who knows what the hell they are doing
