Exclamation Need help with Autometer A/F gauge!~

I am trying to throw in a autometer A/F gauge in my Z and going through hell trying to find which wire to connect it to. From what I see in the wiring diagram it says to tap into a yellow/black wire so I tried it ( there are 4 of them ). It doens't work. Brown wire seems to be the other source for the A/F gauge but I can't find any brown wire in my ECU wiring. The only brown wire that goes into the ECU that is brown is like 4 times the thickness of all the other wires and doubt that it's the wire I'm looking for. I have my car all rip apart now and need help ASAP....... Plese help me.

Honestly man the Autometer a/f guages are junk, they are not wideband's and are just for show. If your going through the trouble to install, at least use one that works.....

Nice comment, but do you know the wire to hook to so that we can give it a shot. Also: if they are junk then please recommend something better you are currently using that works.

I just got done installing the the A/F gauge. After hours of messin around and looking at serveral different layouts and instructions I found out a way to install the A/F gauge. It's simple as hell but everyone had to make it so damn complicated or have a comment that Autometer gauges sucked....

I am very interested in hooking up this exact gauge in my car. Could you please tell me the secret to installing this unit?

Right above the the cylinder #6 which is the last cylinder on the right as you are looking into the hood, there is a green connector. When you tuck back the connector ( it has 4 wires on it ) you will see a green wire. Tap the purple wire coming out from the A/F gauge into the green wire and you should be good to go. My A/F works fine. I found out that it was a green wire using a Multimeter. I heard something about our z's having different computers. Technoquare site stated that. I drive a Track model and couldne't find the brown wire, which was suppodedly the right wire to tap into so I got a Multimeter to find out which wire gave me a fluctuating signal when the car was running off the sensor. Good luck and let me know how things went.
