$1,200 Free Money! What to do...
I recently cashed in a life insurance policy that I forgot about because I've been on a new one for the past year - I didn't think I'd had it that long, but they told me that my payments @ 5.5% = $1,202! So now I need to know what to do with this spare change...
My mods are in my signature (I have a G coupe) - I have a Kinetix plenum on the way and now I'm looking to upgrade the exhaust from the test pipes back - I would really like an exhaust that will provide decent gains (I know there's not much to be had) but more importantly, I want an exhaust that will kill (or at least hide) the raspiness of the test pipes and just leave an aggressive tone behind... I have heard the Greddy Evo II on a couple Z's w/ t-pipes and it sounds awesome - the one for the G is coming out in a few weeks, should I wait for that or is there a better or cheaper alternative for what I'm looking for in an exhaust?
I really want to keep it under $1k b/c the other $200 is probably going to be needed to get the exhaust installed.... also, if you don't think I should spend this money on an exhaust, what should I spend it on? (performance-wise)
Thanks, sorry for rambling!!!

If you need a mod now that is for performance, suspension or exhaust is the way to go.
If you want to make your car look better, I would suggest leather seat covers.
If you can't find anything worthy to spend it on, save it for new tires later on.

lol crappy responses...that's funny. As for exhaust, wait for the greddy to come out. It's a real quality piece and sounds awesome. Plus combined with the test pipes it had a noticeable gain. Or you could go all out on looks and purchase a top secret front bumper or some other kit. Or you could save for a TT/SC setup. Its all up to you. The best thing to do would be to donate your $ to my modding fund. It provides the best gains.

Changed my mind (slept on it) - I think I'm going to go ahead and order the GReddy EvoII and get it over with... then I'll be done with the engine mods that I want to do for now (Vortech can wait until next year) - I think getting rid of the rasp while putting on a few more ponies is worth a grand to me...

No I haven't dyno'd yet, BUT I am going to dyno after I install the Kinetix plenum so I can see what the A/F ratio looks like (and to see where I am power-wise) - Then I'll try to dyno again after the exhaust install and see what that gives me...
Just not for sure if I'm ready to drop a grand on an exhaust yet... (I'm a tight-wad)

bwzabodyn,
How do you like the Fuzion tires. I am considering them based on the customer testimony from a dealers webiste, but would like your opinion.
Thanks.
