Question Which to buy first?

Ok, got about $400 to spend and was wondering which would be best to buy first (performance is 1st priority)?
HiFlow Cats
Y-Pipe
Plenum
Please comment on why which would be best and possible HP gains. Right now I have a MagnaFlow exhaust (consists of mid-pipe and muffler), JWT Pop Charger and waiting on DC SS Headers.

Even though Phoenix is biased, he is right, the plenum is the best thing that you could get for what you already have, although he "forgot" to mention there are two right now, Crawford and Kinetix.

To be more specific - Crawford Plenum. While the Kenetix has good customer service, or so I've read. They are already up to version 4, and there is no indication that the cracking problems have been solved. Their customers are guinea pigs, all waiting for the next version. The Crawford, on the other hand, has proven to be a reliable upgrade with proven gains. This is just my opinion, I am a crawford fan.

I agree that the Crawford Plenum would definately make a difference up top to redline. It will help the car pull all the way to the rev limiter instead of starting to run very rich up top. The plenums also help to evenly distribute air and fuel to all the cylinders which is why I bought the plenum in the first place a long time ago. This feature in itself is why everyone should have a plenum IMO.

You really do have a bottleneck however in your exhaust with the stock y- pipe and cats. In the end you will need to have a plenum, HF cats and a new y-pipe. I would check the classifieds as some of these parts have been up for sale used lately.

plenum, i went with kinetix because the factory strut bar and engine cover fit without modification, and also the kinetix resist heatsoak, you could drive the car in bumper to bumper traffic in the florida sun for hours and pop the hood and give your plenum a hug and it wont burn you like the stock one would. but if you like an ugly engine bay and heatsoak, go with crawford!

JK crawford guys, i like starting trouble every now and then

crank pulley set and crank pulley perform exactly the same...

the pulley set will just cost you more labor... the 2 other pulleys (which one is hard to see) are litterally an ounce or two less then the stock pulley's....

but the crank pulley its self is what makes the power...

Default First to buy......

I would agree that a plenum would be the first to buy, followed by the cats, y-pipe, then pullies. As mentioned on here there are a couple plenums to choose from......both have nearly the same performance numbers and, from what I've read from customers of Kinetix & from what I've experienced with Crawford, great customer service.

I took the ummmm..... "ugly" engine bay look over the ability to "hug" my plenum. Ha!
