350z bored to 4.0
Stroking your motor is pretty boring but does lead to detonation. I prefer to have my heads polished with longer stroke and an ample amount of lube. Then I usually set my forged shaft between big cam lobes and let it run until thermal and mechanical breakdown occur, or to make it simple just use your dipstick to check the oil.
Seriously
here's the answer to your question:

You would have to get a stroker kit and have some major internal work done to the engine. It is very expensive but if done properly, will yield great results. This is a great time to consider compression ratio for going FI or staying N/A as you simply choose which pistons you want to go with. If money is no option, then a stroked engine with 8.5:1 compression pistons and a ball bearing TT kit properly tuned would simply be incredible and still be very reliable. There is currently one stoker kit available right now from AEBS.

hahaha you guys a freakin halarious.. I have never laughed this hard on my computer.
Btw when you want to "stroke it out" (as you put it) just do what these guys said. They have great advice. Use lube, sleeve it, ect...

Black03z, i'll try to give you a serious answer....
stroking is like what some1 earlier said, increasing the displacement....but instead of increasing the bore of the cylinder, you are just moving the piston up and down more distance (increasing the HEIGHT of the cylinder, instead of the radius)....
I believe a new crank and connection rod is enough, I am not sure.... Don't need a new piston since it's same radius cylinder.....

Technically all you need is a new crankshaft and new connecting rods, but if you've already got all that taken apart, there is no reason not to replace the pistons with better ones and all the other stuff thats in there tooo...
okay, seriously.
all that would be hella expensive. is it not true that maxima VQ30 or VG30 (i cant remember which) heads would raise compression enough to enhance your HP the N/A way, and be kinda cheap. junkyard to get the parts...

nismo offers an upgraded vq30 style head which would on a stock car raise the compression to 12:1. there are some serious differences between these head and the regular vq30 im sure someone will chime in and fill you in on the rest, i would not recommend simply putting a stock vq30 head in there and expecting the same results.
and to my knowledge noone has really tried these heads and gotten results other than the nismo race team.
