Default Question about a post someone put in awhile back

I've been looking for a post someone put awhile back about a recall on the transmission on the Z. I believe it was either the throw out bearing or some kind of internal part in the trany. I have a funny sound when I release the clutch pedal. It sounds like something is loose in there, when I step on the pedal again, it's all quiet. Also when I start the car in the morning or if it's ben sitting for a couple of hours it does the samething. has anyone else encountered this problem. I need to have it looked at by the end of the month before I go down to Road Atlanta ALMS race because I'm driving down from New Hampshire. Any info would be apprieciated.

I get it every now and then . . . Yeah, matter in fact, if you go with an aftermarket flywheel (most of them), you'll have an even more pronounced chatter

Back when I had my 3G (eclipse), we experienced the same thing and isolated the prob to the throw out bearing not being properly reinstalled (when swapping clutches). As for the Z, I'm not sure how to, or even if its possible, to eliminate the sound.
