Default Open Differential swaped with Nismo?

OK, looking into swapping my open differential with the NISMO. I know it comes with a bunch of required parts, but what else will I need? Are the open stub axles the same as the LSD stub axles???

I replied in another thread, but the the beauty of the Nismo LSD is that is comes with everything you need inside the box to convert a open diff to LSD.

You get,

LSD stub axles (they are different then the open diff ones)
LSD bearings
LSD bearing seals
Diff oil

Now, OTHER clutch type LSD's are not going to come as a complete kit like the Nismo.

Exactly what was just said... The NIsmo needs nothing. I have upgraded my base with the Nismo unit and it comes with EVERYTHING!!! The only thing you will need to do is change the fluid after you break it in... I reccommend Redline as it seams to be the most quiet out of the 3 different ones I tried... I had the original Nismo, and then I put in full synthetic Lucas, and now the Redline.... The others made the rear even louder than it is now...

OK, but the other thing is that I have an Auto and would need to install the 6mt ring and pinion and final drive. Anybody have one laying around?

Yes, you are correct. My auto is scheduled to have the KAAZ LSD installed on monday afternoon.Nissan took for ever to send the parts. It does end up costing almost twice as much.
but our gears will be even smaller, which gives us better, more noticable acceleration than the 6mt gets out of this mod.
I'll let everyone know how it turns out(total price & performance).
