I should have the complete info on the cams by Friday (the product manager who is in charge of the development of these cams is on vacation until then) - But I talked to Dave again this morning and was told that MSRP will be right at $700 (so street prices will be VERY affordable) and that they will be ideal for both F/I and N/A applications - I told him that I've gotten a pretty good response to this thread and he wanted to see it, so if you are interested, PLEASE reply to this thread... I will keep a running total of everyone that could be potential Crane Cams customers (he said he could use this as ammunition to speed up the development process)

Interested Maxima owner here. You might want to reach out to www.maxima.org and www.altimas.net to get some additional interested people. If you want, I'll post in both sites.

Interested depending on specs...if they get a grind(lift, duration etc) similar to the JWT cams I'd be very interested.

I will not know any of the specifics until Friday when I talk to the Product Manager who is in charge of the 350Z cam production...

Updated list (will be used in the future for reference if we get a GB together):

1. bzabodyn
2. timrod1001
3. zimbo
4. dnahas
5. 03BLKSETE
6. stx (btw where are you at in S. TX?)
7. PoWeRtRiP
8. was wesman
9.
10.
etc..

I know everyone on this list is tenative, because if the results aren't favorable, NO ONE will be interested... regardless of price... but if Crane steps up to the plate with a competitive product at a very competitive price, I think there will be many takers...

Remember, if you are interested AT ALL, please post so we can gauge the interest on the forum... Thanks guys!

Default CAMs

I've used Cranes on several V8 builds in the past , no issues.

I am interested pending profile info and results.

I'm most interested in a higher lift , not "crazy" on duration profile, good for TT use and near stock idle.

I think these are going to be good "all-around" cams - not too extreme, but not too conservative - although this is all speculation until I know something for sure...

I don't think there is another company out there that has been making camshafts as long as Crane has - 50+ years... so I don't think quality will be an issue...

Exclamation Warning to those with '04

Just a warning to everyone with an 04 out there, the Cam's likely wont work with your system.

The 04 ECU does not allow you to change the idle as is necessary when installing high performance cams.

Neither technosquare nor JWT have a fix for this problem yet. (In fact the technosquare ecu reflash doesn't work with the '04s) I've heard that Nismo might be coming out with one in the near future.

What do you mean change the idle ? Idle RPM? The consult is capable of doing it. I had it done a few weeks ago at the dealership on my '04 that was idling a bit low with the SC installed.
