Default Raising seat and moving pedals?

I'm only 5'1" and I'm having issues with fitting comfortably in the car while driving. Not so much on the street, that is something I can live with, but I am having some major major issues on a track, and that is increadibly frustrating.

My first problem is vision. I constantly find myself trying to lift up off the seat to get a better view. Also what ever is left front of me, gets blocked by the side mirror, that is especially causing me problems on any left curves. I simply can't see the road and I'm guessing from memory when to start turning in. Unfortunetly yesterday I went on a track that also had up and downhills and that even compounded that problem. At one point there was a double curve to the left. I got through the first one and turned towards where I thought the second one should be only to find myself heading streight for the grass right in the middle of both curves. Nothing happened, but it really pissed me off.

I also have to pull the seat forward too much in order to be able to work the pedals comfortably. When I do that, I end up being too close to the steering wheel. I end up feeling scrunched and I keep hitting the seat with my elbows when ever I try to do some fast steering. Again, very annoying.

Is there any way I can raise the seat? The current adjustment on it only allows the front part of the seat to be raised and that only lifts my legs away from the pedals. I need my *** raised! ...and don't say phonebook cause I tried it and it worked amazingly for my vision, but again raised me away from the pedals. And for crying out loud! I'm not gonna be driving around sitting on a phonebook!!!

Is there a way I can move the pedals back, closer to me? Add something on top of the existing pedals? Change them comletely??

Has any one tried doing anything like this? Any other shorties out there who found some good solutions?
This is getting to the point where I'm seriously starting to think about getting a different car, but with the exception of these two issues I absolutely love the Z. I don't want to have to do that.

that sucks, i have the opposite problem. I'm 6'3 and my legs are a little too long for the car, im thinking about having the seat moved back about 3 inches.

my friend tried test driving my car and she is 5 feet tall. she had the same problem.

the only thing i can think of is to put the g35 seats in the z. those have up and down power seats i believe. otherwise, if you get custom seats like recaro that can go up and down would be another option.

actually yeah, racing seats would be the best. cool unique seats and able to raise up to meet your needs too. good luck with it.

www.recaro.com

i know the ergonomic line has up and down. dont know about the rest.
