Question Do I need A/F Gauge?

With all the mods i've been doing and plan to do to my engine, and with all the concern on these boards about running too lean or too rich, is it a good idea to invest in a A/F gauge? If so, i've seen ads for gauges costing very little to ones costing $400. At what point should one install A/F gauge, and how much should one pay for such a gauge?

I asked the same question a few months ago. I got responses saying that this should be one of the first mods you do. With that in mind, I got the AEM Wideband Controller from Street Image(bobowah on here) for $400 shipped. I just got it installed this past weekend and I ove it. You will want to get a wideband A/F gauge. From what I have read, some people are using the Zietronix, PLX and 2 others I think but I cant remember what they are. I think they are around the $350-500 range. Hope this helps.
