2005 350z nismo Pacer edition 42 k 335 bhp
first of all what does bhp stand for what is the B.
I heard about this beast through hear say, i have no scientific backing.
On a forum, someone stated nonchalantly that the nismo pacer edition will come out, naturally aspirated, high revveing 335 hp 3.5 liter.
i believe it is possible with high compression and the nismo engine parts (displayed at z1 auto)
I think its very possible
42 grand, is a lot cheaper than the 56 grand that they want for the stune sharkey looking car witht the body kit and the brake ducts.
who would do this, just tate that the car is coming and then leave,
it was on a forum talking about the recent 2005 g35 power upgrade
people were asking if the z would get a similar treatment
a person said that this would come out.
i would like to know if this is true?
it seems like good timing to screw us all over, i have a lease so whatev i guess i can rollover'? who knows, what if skylines would be better, but i lke NA its a bit of a fettish, can't explain, just like i lust for strong transmission and curvy women hahahah. sorry this was intended for comic relieve i did not mean to offen any females. ps chicks with z's are cool!!!!!

the 287 hp that's rated is measured at the flywheel before any losses induced by the drivetrain... at the wheels i've seen ppl say somewhere btwn 230 - 240 hp

Brake Horsepower (bHP) is so called because power generated by the engine is exerted on to a frictional medium or surface (i.e. a brake). It is just one of many ways to measure engine power output and is widely adopted because it is relatively simple.

oh and i used to be adanande. i just changed my sn because part of my name was in my old screename and it keeps coming up on google when i search my full name , so i thought i should change my name, i'm sorry if it confused any one or cause people to think i am mischevious or somehting. anywyas. Umm thanks and Orange Peel it is. If you look at the profiles they should have the same birthdate. okee dokey then. Peace out and thanks for the bhp horsepower. ANd what i meant by
"Don't people already have 280 hp on their z's were peoiple who modify it but still keep in in N/a form and get 280 to the wheels, but thanks for the clarification of BHP i didn't know what the heck that srood for but now i know. thanks.
So technically some people have already made their, Nismo pacer editions.
But i think if the base started out with 280 whp, one could easily mod it to 320 whp, at least at acceleration with a tilton. I think a modified "pacer" edition could hang with 911 carrera S's and gt3's
but there is no hard facts that prove the existance of this car so peace. it might also be more expensive than 42 when it first comes out.

Nowadays we want to dyno without removing the engine from the car, so we use a rear wheel dyno. Because of the losses due to accessories, exhaust restrictions, transmission and rear end losses, etc, power at the wheels, whp, will always be less than bhp. In the Z, a nominal bhp of 287 winds up being 230-240 whp.

its a limited number of people that have hit 280 rwhp N/A. their out there, but theyd have to have every modification there is. and their power band might have become stronger at top and weaker at bottom. just speculation.
however, if nissan did have a 280rwhp NA car from the factory(I dont beleive they do or ever will anytime soon) theyd have to have pretty much employed all the same tricks the people with N/A 280rwhp Z's already have. meaning further modifications would be near worthless.
only way that it could be true is if nissan increase the redline, or displacement, or some elemental part of the engine to increase HP. something that we wouldnt be doing to an engine in the aftermarket arena. but this is unlikely still. 335hp would beat out the current king of NA V6s that I know of which is the bmw M3 engine at 333.

it will if you install a tilton Flywheel, Jason from performance nissan can beat an m3 right now. But stock, your right probably not even with 335 horsepoer. Its just that our cars rev slowly. If the z reved faster it would be scery instead of docile feeling. But i believe that Nismo can add more character to this engine. with higher rpms from a molybydenum crank, and titanium valves and high compression. All a person whould need to do is manufacture some titanim rods and a dry sump lubrication system. Doesn't aps have a dry sump system with its turbo kit. I wonder if you can get it without the turbo?
