UR Pulley/Samco Hoses Installed
I purchased my UR Crank pulley and belts from Concept Z and the Samco hose kit from 350ZForums and I am very pleased with both.
1. UP pulley install went well...removal was not too hard, had to use a breaker bar and extention with car in 6th gear and hand break on...needed wd40 and a little screw driver wedging to get it off...new pulley went right in and torgued down well...used belts supplied by Cencept Z (Nissan) they worked fine...the larger one was a little tight and a bi-tch to get over the idler pulley but I got it and no squeaks. Will recheck bolts and tension this weekend. Performance wise...I don't really notice too much yet, maybe a little quicker reving up...it is much lighter that's for sure.
2. Samco hose kit looks really nice...fitment was excellent. For those of you that dress up your engine compartment this is a nice look.
Next week I get my Crawford V5 intake plenum and stabilizer bar...then I'm done for awhile.
My car sounds great...if you want a really nice exhaust combo I can recommend the Crawford HF cats with the Injen SES straight tip exhaust...great combo.
