Default HELP!!! I am so confused!!!!!

I bought this car because of it's looks, it's overall balanced baseline package, and because it's price would leave me a good amount of $$$ to do some good mods. I'm just so confused about which way to go. SC, TT, high compression, Nitrous.....I researched and thought about them all. Money is not an issue (within reason). What is an issue is drivability and reliability. I don't want the loudness of a Harley Chopper. I don't want repeated trips to the tuning shop and dyno once everything is in place. I don't mind spending the entire upcoming winter getting it all working properly since my car won't be driven during that time, but after that I want to be just able to turn the key and go. Lastly....It has to pass Northeast Emissions testing which is almost as strict as California. What should I do????

Yeah...but I absolutely hate the hood modifications needed.

I would get a TT kit. Keep your stock cats and when you go in for emissions de-tune your car. You should still pass.

2 words, Power Enterprise.

You will not regret it.

With regards to emissions, just put your cats back on every time you test. Everything else should be fine. Mine idles like factory and purrs like a little kitten. It is not a bit louder than stock (resonated test pipes + borla TD), but when I step on it, it is a beast.

Oh, and did I mention over 400whp with a single TS reflash ?

Personally as you can see I prefer the TT for the following reasons:
No noise like SC's
No additonal pulley to drive (rob power to make power)
Max boost is reached sooner so more power in mid range than SC

Problem is that it is harder to install, more involved.

If you don't like the Stillen go with HKS. HKS is also CARB and plug-and-play and safe.

First I would like to know what your goals are for power and what it is that you will be doing with the car because bolt on mods staying N/A can really wake this car up. If you are looking for crazy power then I would go with a conservative TT setup staying in the 340-360RWHP range. Staying N/A with all the bolt ons can be as much money as going directly to a TT setup, but the car will be more reliable.

When I was researching SCs/TTs, most people kept quiet on Stillen. I'll spare you that and tell you that I, personally, am having bad experience with their Stage II. For more info, find my thread. If brave enough, go for it. BTW, if you're looking for performance, do turbo, not SC.
