Default Difference between a radiator and intercooler?

Hey people,
Can someone tell me the difference between a radiator and intercooler. The reason I'm asking is because I like the look of the Greedy intercooler with the stock bumper and would love to install it but don't want to go FI just yet.
Is this possible?

THanks

no...it is not possible. An intercooler flows air, not water. The cores are a totally different structure. Sorry.

actually, an air-air intercooler flows air. An air-liquid intercooler (like the stillen) works like a radiator.

an IC with a turbo on the car is the epitome of rice......I think I saw something like that next to the electric BOV

Seriously though, both a radiator and intercooler are heat exchangers.....they perform the same basic functions, but one s used strictly for the motor, the other for the inlet air generated from the turbo/supercharger

U just beat me to it. But I think he meant an IC w/o a turbo is rice. I guess that might be true for most but I'm really tired of the front end. My chrome strips are played out and the Nismo is not doing it for me anymore. Just liked the look of the IC on the stock bumper with the grill cutout. Someone here posted a pic of their Greddy TT Z (with no bodykit) and the car looked awesome with just with the IC visible through the stock bumper.

if the front is getting old to you, buy a new bumper...but for gods sake dont fit an IC
