You will like them...exhaust will sound civil , but still agressive......and best of all NO RASP...A little tuff to get on . The cat is up close to the header flang , makes it hard to get to the bolts

What correction and smoothing factor?? When I was putting down 254 SAE corrected, that was 262 STD corrected. Then the smoothing at 0 can show a few more hp than the smoothing at 5....

Something I don't understand here. If the drive line components remain the same, whey should the drive line loss be a percentage of HP, as you modify? Why shouldn't it be a constant? What happens if I do things to make the car lose horsepower, is it still a percentage? I certaintly understand it being different between a 5AT and a 6MT. Someone explain please.

Thanks

Lou

Hey there--we met when I was out from CA checking out the shop. I went with the Crawford Package & TS reflash too, but I have pinging at 6200 now. I'm trying to work it out with my tuner now and am bringing to the dyno tomorrow to try and see what it going on. Kind of a bummer--haven't gotten anywhere near the gains I was hoping for so far. Could be the $hitty CA 91 oct. gas...who knows. I'm preparing a complete write-up with pics, dyno's etc. soon. Should be the most thorough write-up on the Crawford package to date.

What is the polished front engine cover? Do you have pics? I just had my stock engine cover cut to fit--looks okay but cuts partly through the V.6....

I would probably relate the pinging to both the 91 oct gas and the higher temps you see out in Cali. If I were you I would try to make it to Technosquare's shop and have them adjust the ECU. That is the best way to do it. Many have sent theirs back and forth trying to get things just right including myself. The polished front cover is the actual metal engine cover on the front of the engine. It looks very nice with the polished plenum on the car, but it takes a lot to have it installed so its best to do it with cams if you want to go that route. My camera is still shot or I would post a pic. mcduck posted some pics a while back when he had his installed.
