Default thinking about lowering the car

thinking about lowering maybe an inch, has any one lowered there car or has anyone heard if this is a good idea.if someone can fill me on the price to lower.is there a differance between lowering the car and "working on the suspension as to stiffen it"i'm pretty ignorant when it comes to the cars suspension....thanks for any input

I lowered mine 1" exactly. Looks better IMO but also you will have to deal with going over speed bumps on angles, exit driveways carefully. Springs will cost you roughly $200. Eibach are most common, I used B&G's. These are progressive springs meaning the coiling of the spiring gets tighter rather than being even. The outcome of this allows a smoother ride over small bumps but hard when you hit a big one. I felt my springs made the car handle better on the track and on the fwy eliminating the annoying bounce of the stock springs.

I hope this helps, Jeff zland

it looks cool, i personally would go for it, but your tires wear out faster.

I first lowered my car an inch on an Eibach ProKit... Now I am as low as my HKS Hipermax II suspension will go...

PM me if you want and you can come by and check my set up and get a ride if that will help you decide on what to get.

i've spent a lot of cash on other things that have nothing to do on the Z, i've got about a grand left as far as psare change is concerned is lowering the car with a tiny budget the best option as to moddifying my car anything out there thats under a grand that would be better than lowering my car?
