Default After some research, this is what I decided.. Help?

Crawford plenum
Crawford cats
Injen dual catback exhaust
JWT Pop Charger

Think I can get 15-20rwhp out of those? Is this a good way to start? I was thinking minor mods like that, than go for the rims/tires/bodykit/spoiler/tint so that I can get a bit of speed, than visual, and then back to the speed hehehe.

Another quick question.. I have read a lot of threads, but could not get a straight answer on whether or not the Crawford cats produce a CEL?

Also I have a 2004.. Has the flash for our ECUs came out yet? Is there a limited one as of now? I plan to dyno after every mod I install just to see the differences.. Probally baseline, than pop charger, than plenum, THAN exhaust w/ cats.. I will keep you all updated.. thanks for your help.. I wanted to get the best results out of the parts I am adding, and appreciate imput!

Another question kinda... Will a TechnoSquare Reflash help much with those 4 mods or is it a pretty much useless $600 mod as of now?

you will likely need a reflash after those mods (you'll likely be running lean)

Yah, I was thinking UR pulleys (seems to be what most people go with) but I was going to wait and do that in my 2nd phase of engine mods..

1st phase incluses exhaust, pop charger, cats, and plenum..

1st phase of exterior mods include rims, tires, bodykit, and spoiler



Than I will begin 2nd phase of engine mods which I still am undecided.. Probally the ECU flash, ground wires, UR pulley, and maybe a couple other things.... Don't know yet..

2nd phase of exterior/interior is probally going to be stereo/speakers, seats, and maybe a couple other things like a shift ****, or something. See where I am going with it.. I get all excited everytime I think about this..

Hhehehh I had a Turbo RSX and I am not a big fan of FI, because of the time that had to go into it to keep it drivable. When I was NA/Bolt-ons it was a simple life.. Ahhhh I remember the days hehe.

Than I probally will go reflash after the first set of mods.. Do you have to send your ECU away?

Well, TS is located in torrance. If you Ship your ECU, the downtime is about 2-3 days. OR you can take a little road trip

actully, Id suggest the crawford package as one item, with the custom TS ecu, totally noticable difference

also, NO PULLEYS they can really kill your motor, underdriving effs up the alternator and water pump n'stuff

Ya I am not sure still.. I was thinking of those 4 mods, and maybe the TS flash (love roadtrips!!!) I am sure that should give me 25rwhp?

Will I get CEL with the aftermarket cats? I did with my RSX

25 sounds about right, you May even get more out of those mods. I havent yet heard of Kinetix or Crawford HF cats throwing a CEL on the Z yet. You'll be fine, I got a CEL with a Carsound cat on my RSX too.

Thanks everyone.. I am going to get a baseline dyno in the next couple weeks,and then after each part I hope to get a dyno done so that I can get a mod by mod detail going on here.
