got the full-street version w/ the tilton flywheel particularly because i like driving my Z quite hard, especially when i find a nice stretch of backwoods asphalt, but i'm not up for the unforgiving clutch of the non-street version quite yet...

looking at 2-5 business day delivery (maybe more for the complete exhaust, i dunno) so i'm guessing tues or wed.

I purchased the Tilton on Tuesday and they said the bolts for the clutch were on back order til Friday. I emailed Jason, but still no word when they will ship out or if the bolts arrived?! My car is in sitting in a shop somewhere torn apart until those bolts come in!! My factory clutch went boom.

That's awesome that you're getting the Tilton as your first power mod!!

I picked my car up yesterday. Titlon is in along with the 3.9 fd!! If you can stand the noise, you are going to love it!!

Leesville = Diseaseville circa 1972.
I was at Ft Puke 1972 -1973.
Had a friend who got busted by the Feds for dope.
Did 2 months in that jail in Leesville (old *** thing - three stories I think -surrounded by a chain link fence. Think it was by the RR tracks. Anyway, he ended up in Angola with a 40 year sentence. Lost track of him, don't know if he ever got out.

haha, yep -- when i called them this evening i almost flipped out when it wasn't going to be ready today... then i remembered i was asking them to do a fair bit of work (and the machine shop isn't on their schedule)... so i chilled out a bit

i've definnitely got the modding urge now...

there's a track around here somewhere (at least one of the other guys said that), when we got back from the sandbox everyone went and got new cars, so there are plenty of Z06's, vanilla C5's, cobras, and one lonely viper in our parking lot at work... i'm still going to get my *** chewed alive, but at least i'm becoming a better driver (whereas everyone else drives like my grandmother... one dude even has an automatic corvette... ugh).

looks like a plenum, bigger tires, the 3.9fd and maybe a quaife (sp?) LSD (if they ever get around to making it!) is next up on the list. I'm definitely going to need bigger shoes at some point...

You should check into the ATS carbon LSD too. Its a great unit and its quiet.

yeah, my stock vLSD clicks a bit, so a quiet unit would be pretty nice, though after hearing your video, i doubt i'm going to hear it either way over the tilton

sounds like a plan... replace the fd and the lsd at the same time
