those who are using JWT clutch and flywheel.........
na i ordered an altima flywheel which is the exact same flywheel as the 350z flywheel except the altima flywheel has an added 1/3" shim that spaces the crank encoder further because the altima sensor is further away. also there are 2 dowel pin holes, 1 for the Z and 1 for the altima/maxima.
After my car would hardly start and I had my car scanned saying the ignition timing was off, and crank sensor wasn't reading right we called Jim himself. He said we needed to pull the flywheel and put the crank dowel pin in the correct hole (he assumed it was in the wrong hole).
So we pulled the trans again and saw that we did indeed have it in the right hole. At that time we saw the encoder did not sit under the crank sensor like its supposed to. So we machined the back and stripped about 1/4" off of a spacer on the back of the flywheel and put the flywheel back in. Car still had all the same problems, except now the clutch engaged very smoothly.
next day we call jim again and he said to pull out the crank sensor and look in the hole to see if there was a shim spacing the encoder from the flywheel. and there wasn't. He said we had a 350z flywheel and not an altima flywheel. My altima flywheel was sent 3-day fedex from cali to illinois and gets here tomorrow. Still waiting on new flywheel bolts from nissan which cost $45.00 too.
So thats the whole story. Hopefully teh flywheel isn't warped like last time because its much nicer to engage now that he flattened out the flywheel.
It was just the way Jim spoke to me and my mechanic on the phone thats all. before and after we modified the flywheel. He insisted that we were at fault the whole time, but every time we proved him wrong and he still treated us like crap. And then after sending the correct part acted as if he was doing me a favor.
If he had sent the right part my car would be working perfect, and i would have another $1000 in my account

Hope they make it right for you.
It's JWT's fault, and they should have offered to refund you the first install costs. I would recommend you call them, and write a letter. If it doesn't get resolved, post it here and whatever Nissan related forums you frequent.
I like my JWT popcharger, and I get the impression that JWT's products are very good, but if they botched up my order, and I loose $1000 fixing it, I'd feel entitled to a refund for THEIR mistake. Perhaps they need to learn a lesson on QA/QC.

i hope it works too, I'll post tomorrow night after we install it. Yeah my mechanic said i should have asked for a refund for the 1st install. because the 2nd install i suppose you could say we should have waited to install it and called Jim first. This was impossible because we only had the shop until 6am cdt. I'm going to talk to Jim and see if he will give me a partial refund at the very least.
