Default Differential Strength?

Does anyone have any information on how strong the stock differential is? I come from the S2000 world, where the stock diff is extremely weak. The 350z feels alot more strong and firm, however. Is this the case? Are people doing drag launches with them?

Also, what is the diameter of the clutch?

Lastly, is the stock transmission pretty beefy?

Thanks!

Chris

I can answer a few questions- The stock rear is definately strong. The weak part is the lsd.. As it gets tired, one axle will spin more than the other before locking up.. I am running the Nismo LSD in mine and have no problems... The transmission has also been fine with a better clutch obviuosly... The only weak part of the drivetrain are the axles. Most that have broken are tearing the splines off inside the hub. I am currently twin turbo but broke one when I was N/A. I actually broke the drivers side CV joint racing on MT et's.. Overall though, the Z has been holding up pretty well at the track. I would say that I have probably made about 30 passes on it this year...

From what I hear the transmission, assuming you have a manual, is quite strong. They're apparently good up to 800hp.
