Default Splicing or tapping into ECU wires

What is the best way to tap into the wires in the ECU harness?

Cut the wire, solder, and tape or shrink tube? (This can be a pain if there is little space)

Are squeeze-on wire taps any good (reliable)?

I would check to see if "autosportwiring" has released their harness! If not, then cut, slice, solder and shrink wrap. You want to do it once and not have to get back under the dash and pull the ECU.
