I smashed the black plastic surround on my Nismo Shift lever !!!. . .

For the Chrome Nismo Shift ****, what is the name of the black plastic part that keeps the shift boot from creeping up to the shift **** and can you replace it? Is there a part number?

I was following the DIY instructions however made the mistake of visegripping it and it is all tore up now!

Someone help!!!! How to do I get a replacement or do I need to buy another shift ****! Damn not another $65! Someone please help!

Are you referring to the finisher? It's supposed to be rubber so I imagine it'd be pretty difficult to "smash"... If you are referring to the finisher, people on this board have used a ball shank toilet washer as a substitute for the provided finisher.
