Did you reset your ECU and still have the light come on?

I have to ask this question, what is fowler and non-fowler?

also, i have the HKS dual ti resonated exhaust, jwt popcharger, and im planning on getting strup headers and strup test pipes package deal. Do you think this would be a good combination? I dont want to be getting pulled over as i can only drive 8am-8pm (cinderella license). Do you know if the strup test pipes are resonated? Should i get the crank pulley? Any other pulleys worth getting?

Also, i plan on getting the 5/16 iso spacer...

thanks for helps

i reallt don't think this fix will work on the 06-07's due to the fact the o2 sensor is wideband. I tried this fouler/non-fouler fix and my CEL came back on twice. Now i have just disconnected the o2 sensors all together and have a permanent CEL. Someone suggested getting some heavy duty briilo pad and stuffing it in the non-foulers to prevent excess contamination from reaching the sensor.

I'm sure there is someway to alter the non-foulers to get them to work for the new Zs. Stuffing a brillo pad in the top of the non-fouler might do something.

I just ordered some 02 foulers made by IP tuned, which have more space inside than the autoparts antifoulers so i could stuff it with some brilla pad thing and see whats up. The antifoulers i made from the auto parts are very tight in clearance and i have to push the sensors in hope nothing got damaged. My car is running ok but it seems to be rich... How do you reset the ecu?

you can reset the ECU by discxonnecting the battery and pumping the brake pedal a few times to drain any excess juice.

how long ago was this because mine came on like 100 miles after i measured it cause i knew i was going to get it. Any ways

Quick question can the CEL come on if the TestPipe sensors read too little flow or is it only suppose to come on with excessive flow or the 02 itself being bad?

It's not flow that it is measuring, it's the gases. When you restrict the amount the sensor can 'smell', it wont trip the SES light.

You technically can't restrict it too much, but you can get an SES if it is completely blocked - like removing them altogether.

One of the easiest ways to do this is to get 2 sets of the non foulers. Drill one set completely out - large hole, and screw that into the untouched set, then screw the sensor into that set. The fully drilled out non-fouler is what you will screw the sensor into. This will help to ensure that you do not mess up the sensor by drilling it wrong.

I have had HKS Exhaust with the APS Test Pipe on my 04 Z for over a year. I did the two spark plug non fouler and have not thrown a CEL yet. I don't think that it matters that much if the the test pipe are resonated or unresonated, it is going to be loud if you go wide open throttled or get over 4500 rpm. Just take it easy on the gas pedal around cops and late at night.

No updates? Well i got my mech 02's and i already stuffed it with copper like metal pad filling. Hopefully this works, if the light comes on too soon that means is not getting any oxygen at all but lets hope that copper thing doesn't burn up and cause a bigger mess.

Update: 215 miles and no CEL
