I recently re did the downpipe and made a 4in aluminum stright exhaust after the downpipe, I wanted to upgrade the exhaust since my welds have gotten alot better since I did the exhaust years ago.
Oof. It sounds so nice and has to be a blast to drive.
Just recently came across this thread, but wish I'd seen it sooner. Truly impressive to see all the work you've put in, and it was rad to see your recent welding work to show how much you've improved with that.

Looking forward to future updates.
thanks man. Its a love hate relationship with this car lol. Yea I still need some improvement on being patient when welding up my own parts I kind rush through them compared to when I make something for a friend or aquatence.
but at some point after the summer im going to probably upgrade to a faster ball bearing spooling turbo to help make power sooner on the rpm range but I want to hit the dyno and the track before I do that.

I understand the love/hate thing completely. lol
For what it's worth, I run a 6766 Pulsar PSR3584 turbo. Even though it's rear-mounted, it actually comes on fairly quick and linear. Would probably work well on your 2J, so maybe one to consider.
