Default Can it be done? (2jz swap)

Alright so I have about 8500 to spend on this swap, mind this is 8500 is going to have to include the car itself. I'm looking to get a local Z with a blown motor since I'd be swapping it anyways, preferably with a CD009 trans to make the swap that much easier. So after that maybe I'd be left with 5-6k could the swap be done with this amount?

Also I want to do most of the work myself to keep shop cost down if any fabrication work is needed

anything can be done, with Time money and knowledge, rule of thumb if you have to ask if can be done, then it can't (at least not by you)

For anyone who searches this, I stuck a 1JZGTE VVTi in my car for $6.2k. The main places money could have been saved is on the Wiring Specialties harness, Collins mounts, and Future Fabrication downpipe. Could have saved ~1.5k with some DIY work, putting the total under $5k. I did all the work myself. A 2J isn't too much more than a 1J, so budget accordingly.
