Default Gen v LT1/LT4 dry sump swap, I believe I am the first?

Hola... Feel free to follow along on my main build thread ( https://my350z.com/forum/exterior-and-interior/585634-the-bmccann101s-car-gets-a-new-look-watch-me-suffer-bodywork-hell-thread.html)

I finally threw in the towel on DE bearing issues and picked up a 2015 Z51 C7 stingray corvette engine.. As well as the high pressure fuel system and supercharger from a 2018 LT4 vette.

I'll have the car over to Todd at Fueled racing soon to research new header and engine mount fitment for this dry sump engine.. Since I already have a flat oil pna, it should help fitment quite a bit.

Anyways, if I'm not the first doing a z33 Gen V dry sump engine swap, that's fine.. But.. I would LOVE to know who else is working on it, as we could share notes together, would be much appreciated 🤝

Here's a few pics and renders of the body work and wrap, nearly completed.

Thanks

Well it's been two years and about 35k dollars and lemme tell ya.. I'm Def the first one doig a Gen v dry sump in this chassis... And what a nightmare it has been..

Stick. With an ls3 kids... Vastly chesper, vastly easier... 10k different accessory options etc..nearly Everything for this swap had to be made ourselves. :/
Including an oil pan that wound up costing me more than the short block did.

I haven't been on this forum for years and am trying to decide whether to rebuild the VQ or do a swap. I wondered if there is any support for the newer LT engines.swapped into the Z33 chassis.

yup.... LOJ does quite a bit for gen v stuff.. but the wet sump engine would be the only way to go.. otherwise u get all the hassles i had to deal with using a vette engine
