If the average Z driver got their a$$ on a treadmill a few days a week they could lose the weight difference between this exhaust and a comparable good flowing SS aftermarket exhaust. Or, perhaps, take out your spare tire and jack before you "go to the track for test and tune racing" on Fri/Sat nights?! Other than flow characteristics the weight savings would be the only true benefit of this over any other hi-flow exhaust. Well, other than the "damn d00d ur a balla" posts you'll get after installing it.
Before I bought the 350Z I owned two Corvettes. A 2001 C5 and a 2005 C6 and I thought THOSE guys spent an unholy amount of money on aftermarket parts and those are $50k - $75k cars driven mostly by older, more "established" (read that, have plenty of disposable income), guys.
But, GOOD LAWD... after being on this board a few months it's seems like nothing for every 20-something guy on here driving a $17k - $30k car to drop $1,500 on exhausts, $3,000 and UP on wheels and tires, $2,500 brake kits. I mean, I've seen $100 titanium lug nuts? I won't even go into the $20k TT installs.
Please, do NOT misunderstand. I'm a HUGE propronent of: "it's your car.. it's your money... do what YOU like!" I really mean that. I do. I'm just, like... damn, dude it freakin' AMAZES me. LOL I'm an Emergency Room Physician with no kids, so I've got a few bucks to throw around here and there, but... did I mention.. DAMN! lol
Oh, by the way... just to post something on-topic. Nice exhaust.
