So when did update come available because as of yesterday there was no update to be had. Is this higher redline already part of Map 2. It does run awfully strong to 7krpm now.

OK, I had to talk to a couple people to get this figured out. On the map download page, when the map version shows 1.02, that will have the change. I guess the maps have been changed and map notes updated, we just haven't got them on the website yet. So keep an eye on http://www.accessecu.com/accessport/nissan/350Z.html for the change to 1.02
So when should the access port be able to support the boosted Z's... or can it be bought now and than another program can be downloaded later? or can you still tune the boosted Z's on it now... and not run a download

We still don't have a date for it yet. I am told it is close. But that could mean so many things right now
How does the fact that this ECU was set at 4k+ ft elevation affect us at sea level, if at all?
Are they different for 06 and pre 06 since the 06 has higher redline, 6.6k vs 7k rpm.

We have plenty of testers at sea level to ensure the maps work. That's why we do beta testing.
As for the rev limits, they were just bumped 500 over whatever stock is on each individual year.

Actually, I have been working with Shariff @ Forged Performance and a few other Z tuners to get some base calibrations that address the needs for the boosted, cam'ed, supercharged, etc. vehicles. We are experimenting with idle speeds, rev limiters, throttle mapping and other parameters to allow for better driveability with the aftermarket hardware. The idea is to allow the piggybacks to be used for fine tuning and the aspects of the EMS that the piggyback cannot control will be handled by the AccessPORT calibration...this is until we are able to release the AccessTUNER Professional software for the Zs.
I read the download notes and it states in caps for STOCK INTAKE. So you have to remove, say a pop charger, to run the maps? I skimmed thru the entire thread and found little concerning this. There is no mention of plenum spacers either. Mind you Sharif's dyno notes from page 1 show a pop charger and spacer being used. Has the v1.02 map removed the intake and spacer mods?
