Default Cobb AccessPort Now Available!

Hi everyone, we are pleased to announce that the Cobb AccessPORT is now available and ready to ship for the 2003-2006 Nissan 350Z (MT/AT, Coupe/Roadster).

Forged Performance was involved in the preliminary beta testing of this exciting new product, and looking forward to supporting the Cobb platform as it develops even further. The AccessPORT is designed for normally aspirated engines only, and comes pre-calibrated for most bolt on modifications. No dyno tuning is required. Simply plug into your OBDII port, and your factory ECU will be immediately reprogrammed. It couldnt be easier.

Here are some details, direct from Cobb:

The AccessPORT, from COBB Tuning, provides owners of 2003-06 Nissan 350Z vehicles the control to unlock the hidden power of the factory ECU. Using the provided calibrations, along performance gains across the entire power band. The AccessPORT also provides users with many convenience features such as anti-theft mode, economy mode, and valet mode calibrations along with on-screen gauge functionality and a fully featured DTC code reader. With the added ability to adjust timing and idle, the AccessPORT is truly more than just a programmer, it is the ultimate all-in-one solution for the 350Z enthusiast. Features also include:

**Improve horsepower, torque, and fuel economy at the touch
of a button

**Display vehicle data such RPM, Fuel Economy, and more while
you drive

**Display vehicle performance data such as 0-60mph and 1/4 mile estimates

**Easy installation, no mechanical or computer skills necessary

**Connects to your vehicle via the OBD-II port conveniently located under your dash vehicles

**Easy-to-read color display

**Update over the Internet to stay up-to-date with the latest features

**Read engine trouble codes (DTC) yourself

**Adjust timing +/- 2 degree’s

**Adjust idle +250rpms

Price is $695 shipped!

These are pics we took of the beta Cobb AccessPort

Here is the dyno testing we performed, with before/after results with the beta Cobb Accessport. They have since refined the calibrations further.

Once you have downloaded the AP can you remove or turnoff any of the maps? Please PM price shipped to 48081. Thanks. Will this void the warranty?

Once you upload the map to your factory ECU, you can disconnect the accessPort if you wish. If you need to switch maps, or revert back to stock, then you simply reconnect the accessPort, and make those changes.

In terms of warranty, officially, I would imagine that any change to the factory ECU could void some parts of your warranty. But the instant ability to flash back to stock, makes it unlikely this would cause anyone any issues.

If a technician at Nissan would to run diagnostics on your car, there would be no indication that anything has been tampered with or change.

Do you have to upload the map to your car? I would love to have one of these for all of the other features since no other software to date can change the idle of 04.5 Z's.
