we do have an HR in here now and will take a look into what it would take to mount one there

EDIT: Well I took a quick glance and it will not work on the HR in the engine bay, they would work in the fender well area and if the bumper has to come off this car I will get a better idea of the install potential.

Do you have to move any rad hoses for this? Looks like where it mounts I have a factory harness and rad hose.

Tomek350Z--- no progress on the HR kit

BabyZiLLa--- the factory coolant hose and harness get tucked behind the bracket.

Great. I just ordered one.

What do you guys usually use to plug the intake tube since you disconnect the hose running to the drivers side rocker cover?

BabyZiLLa--- call me back about your order... we have not received the email you spoke to me about...

You can get an assortment of caps at any local auto parts place. Depending on the intake and intake plenum installed in the car depends on what size you need.

You'd be surprised what you can/cannot get in this town. It's too the point where I'm considering ordering my groceries and toilet paper online.

E-mail re-sent. Thanks mate.

Does the kit come with the fitting/adapter for the drivers side factory line to the braided line? If not can you tell me what size It is so I can pick one up before it arrives.

You can see what I mean in Cux350z's pictures. I'm guessing the line included with the kit isn't long enough to reach straight to the drivers side rocker cover.

Since I went to like 8 different automotive stores before I could find what I needed, figured I'd post up to save others some time.

If you have the stock intake tube you'll need to cap off the plug on the intake tube and the one on the intake manifold.

NAPA sells Bypass Caps that fit perfect. I couldn't find them anywhere else.

Intake Tube - 5/8" PN: 660-1696
Intake Plenum - 1/2" PN: 660-1697

Didn't realize the lines weren't pre-cut..

What do you guys use to cut the line? Don't want to to fray to hell.

I've never used this particular hose but previous hoses would fray like a mother with a razor blade. I'll give it a shot.

I'm impressed with the quality of the catch can. It was definitely worth the 3 weeks it took (thanks customs).

atleast you didn't pay double for it, had it gone UPS, but a nice new razor blade makes it very clean, very minimal fray

Can you do me a favour mate and tell me what kind of line it is you guys use in your kit? I'm guessing it's from Earl's but which one.

It's so easy to work with I want to use it for some other things.

We have a couple suppliers, it is a Prolite 350 style line. $5.5/ft we stock it, if you would like to order some.

Thanks
Dustin
