It might be but you probably want to stick with the US rating, as the JDM ratings are usually due to higher octane gas running slightly more aggressive maps.

I have to use a special tool to get a compression test on the VHR because of VVEL. Post a pic of the tool and I'll believe you.

Leak down was done in Japan, it's good.

Motor is sold.
