Complete 370z engine part out VQ37 st louis, mo
SOLD
I managed to get a hold of a used VQ37 engine. I purchased it complete but I had to disassemble it to transport it. Miles are unknown but the date stamped on the engine is 2007. It sat in a guys garage for a short bit so there is some surface rust on some of the valve surfaces in the combustion chamber NOT on the sealing surface of the valves. The outside of the block is slightly dirty from sitting in the shop. The head gasket surfaces of the block and heads look great. They need the OEM head gasket material cleaned off of them. The bores probably need a hone due to them sitting for a long period. I have an up close picture of one of the bores.
I have basically all the parts from a complete engine from the heads down. The heads were not disassembled except for removing the valve covers. More pictures can be taken upon request.
There are front and rear timing covers in the pics. They are bolted back together to make it easier for transport.
These would be great parts to pic up for a future build or to refresh for a shortblock replacement. Heads are ready for new valve covers and they should be able to bolt right on and use.
Short block: 700$
Complete heads (without valve covers): 500$
upper and lower oil pan (with windage tray): 100$
Front timing cover: 100$
Rear timing cover: 100$
The solenoids and all that junk comes with the heads. I'm willing to part out any of this further down if someone needs stuff. I also have plenty of bolts and small stuff off this engine.
I'm not sure about shipping the short block. It is quite a bit heavier than the vq35. Shipping is NOT covered by these prices. I would be willing to do local pickup or for the cost of gas meet someone within a reasonable distance from St louis, missouri.

email me and we could probably work something out. Since most people wanting to build this block wouldn't need the pistons it would still make a great core even after selling the pistons.
email me and we will probably be able to make a deal.

Check your sources before you post. 2008 is the first year for the g37. Want to take a guess when they started producing those cats in the factory? If you guessed 2007 you would be correct.
