Default SARD Fuel Pump

Up for grabs is a new in box SARD 165 lph fuel pump. Part #58241. New they sell for $230 + shipping, letting it go for $139 shipped in the 50 states. Includes filter, pump measures 122mm x 38mm. This is a high pressure pump that is great for an all out NA build using bigger injectors, or for a mild turbo/supercharger setup where you need more fuel than the stock pump but don't want to deal with the high fuel pressures a 255 lph pump yields if you don't do a return setup - this is the best of both worlds.

noob alert: how much WHP would this support on a "mild" turbo/sc setup?

A stock pump flows ~90 lph, this flows roughly 83% more than a stock pump can (both as measured at 12 volts). While it's not a direct linear relationship, you can extrapolate power from there. For someone with a mild boost (s/c or turbo) setup that doesn't want to go through the time/expense of a full tilt return fuel setup right now, this is a great alternative that will support higher hp, but not send base fuel pressure sky high like the typical Walbro pump does. I'd safely use this pump up to around 420whp or so

Would an FPR be needed with this pump? I had a 255 Walbro in my Acura and needed one to rein in the pressure.

many run aftermarket pumps without a new regulator, and stock fuel lines - the various return line kits on the market generally have adjustable regulators as part of them.
