Custom Boost Ready Pistons at R/T Tuning
R/T Tuning has stepped up to the plate to fill a hole in the VQ forged piston offerings for forced induction applications. We contacted piston manufacturing giant Wiseco Pistons to make their outstanding forged pistons to our supplied specs for the supercharged or turbocharged Nissan 350Z and Infiniti G35 cars.
Most forged piston offerings currently on the market are either too low in compression at 8.5:1 which kills response or higher than the stock compression ratio of 10.2:1 at 10.5:1 or 11:1 which is not suitable for a boosted application.
Our custom pistons with a 9.7:1 compression ratio and a 96mm bore balance a boost friendly compression ratio with great response! Perfect for your force fed Z or G car.
