MGS1849 I wouldnt do that. That hole is not as large as it seems and is flow restricted. Not to mention that is how you crank ventilates.
Cool man I may do that thanks. I will hit ya up about when I do them. I'm in need of a dump tube or referred to the recirculating pipe from wastegate to the down pipe. If you know of or know anyone that may have some xtra Turbonetics parts like that let me know?

I'd like to know as well. I've had a little oil on my spark plugs for awhile now.

What Nissan gasket do you use for this, since Nissan doesn't sell these separate?

Thanks

Nissan does not offer a replacement tube seal for the VQ engine. The seals are built into the valve cover itself which is why the service guys say no part exists. The seals that we use come from an entirely different Nissan motor. The OEM VQ seals have to be drilled out and the holes widened to fit the new seals. It can be tricky if you do not have the right tools or if you've never done it before.

To answer peoples questions yes we still have two core sets available, ready to be rebuilt. As someone said earlier there is only one person handling the forum and l-fab right now. As some of you who've made it down to the shop know, there's a whole lot going on at any given time with our metal fab / powder coating business and having time to sit down and reply to messages and PM's can get difficult. I realize this is a poor excuse and we're in the process of hiring someone specifically for the purpose of internet sales, the forum and l-fab. We apologize if any of you are unhappy but we're doing our best to correct these issues.

If any of you need to contact us quickly and directly you can email me at larenas@legionmfg.com or call us at 626-442-0200. More core sets will be available by the end of the month and we are going to start stocking these covers already rebuilt and ready to go which should help us reduce turn around time. The powder coated covers are also still being offered. If any of you have any questions or concerns feel free to e-mail and i'll get back to you as soon as possible.

Thanks!
