Default VQ35DE 2005 motor, low mileage

VQ35DE, purchased at 37k miles. Used for 4 FD events at low boost (3-9 psi) with E85, this motor didn't have to work very hard.
Excellent compression values (all cylinders within a 5 psi span).

Ran excellent and was peppy/responsive up to the minute I pulled it out of my car.
Only reason I took it out was to install a Fueled Racing V8 in my 350Z.

I am willing to split it from the transmission and sell it without AC, intake etc, but for anyone who wants the complete shebang I have the original OEM pullout parts intake, TB, AC, injectors, fuel rails, stock flywheel, clutch, pressure plate, new slave cylinder, also includes 6speed transmission w shifter, starter. All low mileage and in excellent well maintained condition, gearbox 3rd gear syncro is not like new but not grinding and not yet bad. Also ignition coils, crank + cam sensors are brand new (used only 1 event).

DOES NOT INCLUDE ENGINE HARNESS (except thick cable between alternator and starter)

The intake cam teeth were modified to use AEM standalone ECU. If using 350Z ECU the intake cams should simply be pulled out and replaced, this is an absolute piece of cake job with the motor out of the car.

Asking $995 for motor+transmission, local pickup preferred. If shipping is requested then buyer pays for ALL COST associated with crating and freight shipping.

For motor only: $800 firm.

This is a bargain deal for a very tight and healthy motor!

Might be very interested in this. Still trying to decide to keep my car or not, but if I do, I want this for sure. Does 3rd grind at all, or it's just hard to get into gear sometimes?

3rd gear doesn't grind at all and is not hard to get in gear unless you try to force it in ultra fast (which doesn't work on a new Z transmission either).

I'm assuming you also raced with the stock clutch. Did it ever slip? I have close to 80k on mine, so I would probably want to use yours since it's much lower mileage, but only if you didn't have any problems with it.

Yes, ACT heavy duty pressure plate and race disc (brand new), very smooth and easy to drive and grabs up to 670 lb/ft.

Also selling the ACT 13 lbs ProLite flywheel used less than 500 miles.
