When did you have the valve covers replaced??

 

I honestly do not know. I purchased the car 2 months ago to do an LS2 swap......so I don't know what the previous owner did or did not do. Sorry that I don't have any more info.

 

bringing your cats to a scrap metal yard may yield over $100. If im not mistaken the honeycomb filter within them is made of platinum and rhodium.

 

Yeah, they definitely are worth more as scrap metal. However, I'd much rather pass them along to someone who needs them for their car. I can't bring myself to "waste" perfectly good parts.

Thanks for the heads up though. Ya never know, I may get hard up for some cash in the near future and might have to resort to scrapping them. Unitl then, hoping someone can use them.
