I'm sick and tired of hearing complaints about what happened to the Z meets......blah blah blah. Well, show up when there is one. Otherwise, don't complain and wonder where the meets are. Aside from that, it was nice seeing Hypersprite,B_Nazty, Chris, Ryan(G35), and the fellow Z ang G owners that actually showed up to the run.
+1 forreals!

Just want some feedback on the food. Was it good? Enough? Would you go back there? I just want to send our honest feedback to the restaurant manager at Poppy.

I know there are several people on the the G35 forum complaining about not having enough food / not good food blah, blah, blah......

If you thought there was not enough food:

Oh, well lesson learned as our first Z/G Buffet luncheon. If people were dissatisfied with the food maybe we need to choose another place next year? Or better yet, we can do like T.I. meet and have everyone figure out food on thier own. Sorry I should not use "we" as I'm no longer a "Z" owner (J/K). I think I'm going to relax and be a spectator like everyone else next year. Someone else can spend their days off planning next year's event.

Good luck whoever does it next year.

If you thought there was not enough food:

Sorry guys about the food situation, I guess we should have asked for more food and we should have not run out of food at a buffet. We assumed that since no one at the end was by buffet table waiting, everyone was done. We should have checked with you guys.

lol wasn't it supposed to be a "all you can eat" buffet? lol there wasn't enough to eat for everyone!

My honest opinion was the food was alright, my table got to eat first so we didn't complain. Personally last years food was better in my opinion but like I said, no complaints from me.

Honestly, i think the food was alright. I thought this was a all you can eat buffet, and was expecting more than just rice, checken, salmon, and salad. We all paid $25 a pop for the food. At least the club house should accommodate us with more food.

There wasn't enough food, but otherwise it was OK.

Where were all the Roadsters?

I was the only convertible in the whole group and I had to leave early for a work event. I'll work on getting more Roadsters there next year.
Thanks to the organizers for all their work.
Great ob.

A friend from the RX8 Club wanted to join, so I had to drive the RX-8 so he didn't feel left out, but I'll drive the roadster next time.

Well, I organize and started doing this event annually, I will also speak with the manager next time I'm at Pebble Beach, and give him the feedback and to make sure that doesn't happen again. Or maybe make a new route through Carmel Valley and to a new area with a new location for luncheon with a different type of set up. Will check into that. I will have a new plan about 3 mo's prior Sep '08 to get feed back on it also and a feeler for my next annual event. Surely the free raffle went well, everything was claimed, even when I called my own number and passed up....duhhh.....

Thanks Warren and everyone else who coordinated the event.

For those of you Z owners, I just posted the Dublin & San Jose caravan photos on the G forum. The rest of the photos will be posted later today or tomorrow. Enjoy! -Andy.
