Now I miss being back there. I lived in Waipahu after I moved out of the apartments on Ward Ave. I had been stationed and retired out of the Marine Corps Base "K" by Kailua back in the 90's there and worked for the Atlantis Reef Divers, Submarines for several years before leaving. Sure miss it now. Barbers Point was still opened then and I lived out the gate about 2 miles then. Scuba dived all over the island.
